Notes
I apologize for how basic the background buildings are, with several not even having doors and windows drawn on them, and any other fucked up parts of the art, it's been three years and I was having enough trouble working on this for more than half an hour at a time without getting sick to my stomach. I really want to be done with this story.
"Zapato" is Spanish for "shoe." As far as I know the Addisons don't have official names so I just made one up for him, maybe subconsciously influenced by this video. I guess the tea seller could be Lipton.
If you haven't figured it out by now, the original NPCs are all based on Mega Man X bosses. It occurred to me after I gave the lizard the curled tail people might think he's supposed to be Toxic Seahorse but no, he is Sting Chameleon. And I know the color schemes of the bartender and the pizzeria's waiter don't quite match Spark Mandrill and Armored Armadillo (the bartender has blue shoulders while Spark Mandrill has brown, Armored Armadillo's body is purple and not orange) but they both looked really garish when I tried to match their palettes.
When I did this filler comic I mentioned I had a rule where Kris needed to be somewhere nearby in the "Additional Comics" otherwise it got relegated to "Filler Comic." Then I realized this rule was violated in the two establishing panels of Escape Plan, which follow Susie snooping around the foyer on the ground level while Kris is down in the basement, and the smash cut to Zapaton at the end of Pull the Strings. It's also violated in the first page of this comic which follow Zapaton trying to get a lead on the kids and by extension Spamton, so let's revise that rule to say Kris has to be nearby for the majority of the comic's main story.
If you absolutely must know what the last word on the pizzeria is supposed to be, like you'll lose sleep over it or something, it's "Salads."
